CMC Microsystems in collaboration with the National Research Council Canada (NRC) and the University of Waterloo hosted GaN Research Workshop 2013. The GaN Workshop included: market status of GaN, modeling of GaN devices, GaN in wireless and mmWave applications, GaN in aerospace and defense, GaN challenges and recent developments, and NRC-CPFC's GaN roadmap. Presentations by experts from Yole Développement, Canadian Photonics Fabrication Centre (NRC-CPFC), Modelithics, NanoWave, TriQuint, University of Waterloo, Cardiff University, and American University in Cairo were featured.
