Co-hosted by the University of Toronto and IEEE Photonics Society Toronto Chapter, this workshop-style information session introduced silicon integrated photonics to academic and industrial users, described services available today (and tomorrow) to support R&D activities, and provided perspectives on CMOS-photonic integration from microelectronics experts.
