This workshop presented a new product offering to embedded systems/software researchers. Objectives:
- Provide interested researchers with detailed technical information on the Platform 2012 ecosystem
- Present CMC plans and infrastructure for enabling embedded systems research
- Identify research possibilities associated with Platform 2012 by presenting early adopter experience
- Through break-outs and discussion, develop a CMC product plan, including future enhancements, complementary infrastructure, training, etc.
- Identify lead client researchers who will use this product and advise CMC on future enhancements
- Provide a venue to interact and explore potential collaborations with fellow researchers, CMC and STMicroelectronics
