User Guide: Controlling Temptronic TPO4300A Thermal Forcing Unit Using V93000 SoC Tester

Prepared by CMC Microsystems, in collaboration with Wonjun Jung and Professor Glenn Gulak of the University of Toronto, who developed the v93kTFUGen tool to integrate the V93000 and TPO4300A.

The Verigy 93000 (V93000) System on Chip (SoC) Tester resides at the Advanced Digital Systems Laboratory (ADSL) located at the University of Toronto. The V93000 is used to test digital integrated circuits with operating frequencies up to 1.25 GHz. A Temptronic TPO4300A Thermal Forcing Unit (TFU) is available to the V93000 Tester users to implement temperature stress testing of digital chips. This unit provides thermal control over test ambient conditions ranging from Celsius -80 to 225 degree.
