This user guide describes control board MS3110BDPC with a Universal Capacitive Readout IC MS3110 (by IRVINE SENSORS Corporation), which is provided to extend the functionality of the MEMS/FPGA Platform.
With this addition, the MEMS/FPGA Platform can be used in MEMS device test, calibration, and feedback loop control applications. This document and accompanying design example cover the following topics:
- setting up and testing the MEMS/FPGA capacitance reading and control system, and
- carrying out Pico-range capacitor measurement.
